Zune HD Still “A Work In Progress”
The new Zune HD from Microsoft is being dubbed by some as the next best thing in media players. And it’s not actually hard tp fanthom why. It has a compact, lightweight design with a very slick-looking interface.
The display of the Zune HD is of bright OLED, and the dark ligthing of the nightclub showed off a very good effect. It is also said to be fast and responsive. And although its 480 x 272 pixels is far from being “HD,” it does have a 16:9 aspect ratio so you might actually appreciate the display. You can also zoom and swipe in between photos with speed like never before. Microsoft has actually packed the Zune HD with a Nvidia Tegra chip inside. Amazing.
The Zune HD includes a dock and an HDMI-out port and remote, enabling you to plug it in an HD TV. From there, you will be able to watch HD videos at 720p. The dock/remote accessory, however, will be sold as separate.
Microsoft is still remaining mum on when the Zune HD will debut or how much it will cost us, so better stay tuned for more details.
