Toshiba came out with its new contribution to digital entertainment. Smack this right in your living room, and you’ll never cease to wonder how technology has taken us very far from where we were in the past decade.
This 7-inch JournE Touch is based on Windows CE, has an ARM processor and includes a full Web browser. Called the “Ultimate Home Media Tablet,” this tablet can access Picasa, YouTube, Flickr and IM devices. It has WiFi capability, and is possible to be operational on Toshiba’s home media line.
The JournE Touch will retail for $350. You can get a base station that has a USB and HDMI ports to add more functionality to the tablet, but that would cost you a little more.
