Target Ads Showing Microsoft Dropping Xbox 360 Pro and Elite Prices
Sony will dropping the prices on its PS3 line thanks to the recent unveil of the PS3 Slim which will be released next week on September 1st. In order to “fight” against Sony, Microsoft has to do something with its Xbox 360 series as it would be impossible for the company to compete against the PS3’s. Although this has been rumored for quite a while, even before Sony’s unveiling of the PS3 Slim, Microsoft is dropping the prices on the Xbox 360 Pro and Elite.
This is not official yet, but if it were to believe some screenshots of the Target Ad ads from next week then the Xbox 360 60GB Pro bundle will cost $250, while the Xbox 360 120GB Elite bundle will be priced at only $300. The Xbox 360’s will cost this low as of Sunday, August 30. Check out the supposed Target Ad ads and let us know what are you going to buy: conventional PS3 consoles, the PS3 Slim, or one of the Xbox 360?
