Motorola has unveiled its savior this week or at least this is what they think the Cliq is. Although Android OS and HTC Sense UI are cool they are not everything on a smartphone. I’ll admit, the specs on the Cliq are good and the design is acceptable for a slider. The Motorola Cliq is heading to T-Mobile thanks to their good relationship, but the release date and pricing remain officially unknown.
The good thing is that we can always rely on the Internet to show us some leaks, and that’s the case with the Motorola Cliq. The Android-powered smartphone will be available for the consumers as of mid-October, if it were to trust an unseen but new T-Mobile PowerPoint internal document.
Our colleagues at the BoyGeniusReport received an internal T-Mobile PowerPoint document which shows that the Motorola Cliq will be released in November, but their source says that the document is old, and that the new one shows the smartphone getting released in mid-October.
I am sure that we can trust BGR as well as their inside sources, and we can be very happy about the month of October which will be the month of the smartphones as the BlackBerry 9550 Storm 2 is rumored to show up on October 14, and these are not the only devices that we’ll get. I can’t wait for October!
