Sony Cybershots TX1 And WX1 Are Your Perfect Party Cameras
So one of the most annoying thing to do as a party host is to seek out people and ask for their pictures to be taken. But thanks to the new Party Shot mode of Sony Cybershots TX1 And WX1, there’s no need for you to go around and take pictures. Sony says this mode will “act as your personal photographer.”
In this mode, the camera–either a TX1 or WX1–will be mounted wherein the little mount will control the camera. It will also be able to tilt or zoom, seeking out any people in the room using the face detection feature of the cameras. Once it sees its target, it will immediately releases a laser to let the person know he/she is being targetted, then he/she will be able to put a grin on his/her face before the camera shoots.
Sony says that the robot can even compose pictures using the rule of thirds (wow, some other so-called photographer don’t even know this basic photography principle). Although it does nothing for the quality of the photos, yet there’s something amazingly accurate about shooting subjects with this principle rather than always putting them in the middle.
The Sony Party Shot mount will retail for $150, half of how much cameras are ordinarily priced.
