Solar radio is sustainably techie
Emil Rosen has come up with and eco-pick for all you people who enjoy radio. Dubbed Solar Radio, it’s a cool handy device blessed with a new solar cell technology which ensures the functioning of the radio along with the touch sensitive technology which when merge up help controlling the radio. The cool traits include the NXT SurfaceSound (speaker that emits sound) and Force Sensitive Resistors that make the solar cell touch sensitive allowing it to control the radio. The solar-powered radio lets you enjoy wherever you’re within your den or outside in the lawn.
How does this eco-chic radio works?
Press and hold in the middle for three seconds to turn on/off the radio. To increase/decrease the volume either tap on the top or the bottom to change in steps or slide vertically along the surface for a more gradual control. Tap on either side to tune in the station automatically. When a station is found, the audio interface tells you the name of the station. This is done by the station’s RDS signal. Slide your finger horizontally to go to the next memory slot. The audio interface tells you which slot you’ve entered followed by the station currently stored. If nothing is stored, it asks you to search one. The stations are automatically stored when going to a new memory slot.
