Sega’s Dreamcast Reaches 10 Years, Is Dreamcast 2 9/09/09 Real?
oday is September 9, 2009. It’s cool, right? 9/9/09 or 9/09/09 or 09/9/09, and do you believe? If you don’t remember what I’m talking about then you are not a true Dreamcast fan. How can you not remember Sega’s game console that was introduced exactly ten years ago on September 9, 1999. Sega Dreamcast was the best thing ever and fans all over the world are waiting for Dreamcast 2, although Sega officials repeatedly said that a next-gen console is not going to happen.
Today is Sega’s 10th anniversary and we would like to wish them a Happy Birthday, and to tell them that we are still waiting for the Dreamcast 2. The company said many times that it won’t go back to manufacturing hardware for gaming consoles, but two years ago we’ve seen Sega buying lots of floor pads and flash memory cards, while last year we’ve seen lots of video games published for Dreamcast.
So what do you think? Will Sega make a surprise announcement today? Will we get the Dreamcast 2? How cool will it be? We’re waiting for some answers and they better be the ones that we hope.
