Samsung Jet S8000 Is Truly A Great Smartphone
Yesterday at CommunicAsia 2009 Samsung unveiled a plethora of smartphones, and I must say that all of them are interesting. Here is the Samsung Jet which features an 800MHz processor, and a very cool Samsung Cube user interface. For the moment the smartphone wasn’t announced for a US carrier, however, I think it’s going to AT&T or T-Mobile.
The Samsung Jet S8000 features a 3.1-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen with 16 million colors, a 5.0-megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash, quad-band EDGE/GPRS, 3.6Mbps HSDPA, Samsung-trademark Dolfin Broswer, A-GPS, TouchWiz 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi, microUSB support, and multitasking.
Samsung’s latest smartphone the S8000 Jet measures 108.8 x 53.5 x 11.9mm, while the spec list continues with FM Radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2GB/8GB memory, but with a microSD card slot which can hold a 16GB card, 30fps video recording, MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, DivX, XviD, video support, MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA and more audio support, and an 1,100mAh battery which provides up to 300 minutes of 3G talk time, and 406 hours of standby in 3G.
Please tell me that you didn’t expect the spec list to be over as the Samsung Jet S8000 also features Face and Blink Detection, Smile and Panorama Shot, geotagging and edit photos, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, and On-board Navigation better known as 3D maps.
This is simply an amazing cellphone. Seriously, just look at its specs. Also, please consider that the Samsung Jet S8000 is based on the new & cool TouchWiz 2.0 and the Cube UI. I can’t wait for this cellphone to become available.
