Samsung i8000 Omnia II Available For Pre-order At Amazon For “Only” $1000
The Samsung Omnia 2 has been officially leaked on Amazon. We knew from multiple sources that the smartphone is coming soon, but now it’s official that this beauty will arrive here very, very soon. Amazon is now listing the Windows Mobile-based smartphone at a surprisingly “low” price: $999.99. That’s great isn’t it? Sell your car, stop feeding your kids, and take three jobs, but hey: you will have a pretty cool device called Samsung Omnia II.
Probably the best thing is that this beauty is coming to Verizon as we’ve seen in the leaks. If the unsubsidized and unlocked version costs a fortune, the Samsung Omnia II might be priced somewhere at $300 which is also too much. However Sprint is selling the HTC Touch Pro2 for $350 therefore the Omnia 2 might cost $400. And if Verizon is getting this beauty would they let the WiFi option to be enabled? I think they will.
Samsung Omnia II features a big 3.7-inch AMOLED 480 x 800 resistive touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, 8GB of built-in memory which can be increased up to 32GB via a microSD card, WiFi, GPS, Windows Mobile 6.1 upgradeable to Windows Mobile 6.5 on October 6, and Samsung TouchWiz 2.0 UI. Sounds great, right? At the moment I think that Verizon should work at a deal with Samsung and to price this smartphone as low as possible. Let us know how much would you pay at Verizon for the Samsung Omnia 2.
