Rumor: T-Mobile G2 Coming With 5MP Camera At Walmart In July
Here’s some great news: T-Mobile USA is preparing to launch a the next-gen G1 handset, and they prepared some interesting surprises for us. Although it was rumored that the T-Mobile G2 aka Magic, Sapphire, myTouch will be a replica of the HTC Magic, this is not true at all. You can see that the design is similar, however, the upcoming cellphone will pack a 5.0-megapixel camera and it will be available in many colors. Also, the T-Mobile G2 will feature a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard which will probably increase your writing.
I remind you that the HTC Magic features a 3.2-megapixel camera, but T-Mobile USA has decided that this is not enough for our inner-photographer therefore we will enjoy taking photos. I am thinking that T-Mobile knows something about the next-gen iPhone which might feature a 3.2-megapixel camera and they thought that it’s about time they’d outdone Apple’s smartphone.
Well, as far as I can tell, the T-Mobile G2 will not feature a 3.5mm jack, and if true, this is a really dumb move from their side. It is reported that the handset will be available in July for a price of $179 at Walmart with a two-year commitment. Check out the photos and let us know what you think!
