Nokia X6 Comes With Music and Cool Design In Q4 2009 For €450
Earlier today we reported that Nokia unveiled a new touchscreen smartphone at the Nokia World 2009 event. Well, the company unveiled a lot more, and released all the details about the Nokia N900 tablet, Nokia Booklet 3G, and the Nokia N97 Mini, but we are more concerned about the most beautiful device that we’ve seen from the Finnish-based company: the Nokia X6. No, it’s not the BMW X6, it’s the X6 smartphone that comes packed with lots of interesting apps and services.
The Nokia X6 is a CDMA smartphone with WCDMA 850/1900/2100+QB GSM (LTA, NA). WCDMA 900/1900/2100 +QB GSM therefore we assume that it’s going to Verizon or Sprint anytime soon. The Nokia X6 features a 3.2-inch 360 x 640 16:9 nHD touchscreen, 32GB of internal memory, 433.9MHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and dual-LED flash, 3.5mm headphone jack, A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, 5 hours of 3G talk time, 35 hours of music playback, direct access to Ovi Store, 20 friends and virtual communities including FaceBook to homescreen, Ovi Maps, and many other apps including EA Spore, and Gameloft Asphalt4 and DJ Mix Tour.
According to the Nokia CEO, X6 users will never have to pay to download any music as the smartphone features the Comes With Music service and they’ll be able to download music from various libraries “quickly, easily, and for free.” The smartphone measures only 111 x 51 x 13.8 mm, comes with one of the most sleek designs ever, and it’s powered by Symbian OS S60 5th edition 5.0 Sounds great right? Well, the Nokia X6 has a MSRP of €450 and it will become available in the fourth quarter of 2009.
