Nokia has made a lot of fuss with the N900 internet tablet, and this what it should have done. They didn’t invest too much into marketing, but people like the product because it is a good one. The N900 looks surprisingly good for a sliding QWERTY (I’m just saying this because I hate sliders), and it has a long list of great specs including the Maemo 5 Linux platform. Will the N900 rise up to the hype it has created? We can’t tell that for sure, but we’ll hear more when it will be launched.
The internet tablet was made available for pre-order on the Nokia Italian and German website for 599 euros, and it was about time it showed up on the US store. Nokia is selling the N900 for only $649, and you definitely might want to pre-order one now before the company runs out of units. Seriously: the European versions costs $850, while the North American version is $200 less expensive. That’s a pretty good deal for all of us.
If you want the Nokia N900 tablet then you can pre-order it here.
