The Ashes
Nokia 7705 Twist Coming At Verizon for $99.99
The Nokia 7705 is a square-shaped with a swivel design that will make people stare a little.
The 2.4 inch display is centered on the front part of the phone above the navigation controls. This makes the Nokia 7005 look a lot more like a small video player rather than a mobile phone. Rotate the swivel out and the full QWERTY keyboard will be at your disposal. It is not a brand new concept, but it seems to be well implemented.
The list of features only comes to complement the exciting design. The 3 megapixel camera comes with a video recording option, a flash and a self-portrait mirror for when you want to see how you look while the “post to blogs” feature will let others see how you, or anything around you looks like. You also get a musical player, well complemented by the 2.5mm headset jack and the full Bluetooth that also features a stereo profile.
The good numbers of messaging features: threaded text messaging, instant messaging, e-mail, along with the full QWERTY keyboard make the Nokia 7705 a great choice if you are texting all the time. The full HTML browser is also a good addition. The internal memory is of 256MB but that can be extended using the MicroSD card slot to make sure you have enough storage space.
Available online starting with September 13 and September in-store, the Nokia 7705 Twist is priced at about $100 with a $50 mail-in rebate and a two-year contract with Verizon.
