MSI Wind U150 Netbook Has Touchscreen And New Intel Atom
Filed under : General
The new Intel Atom processor, Pine Trail Atom, is rumored to be included in the soon-to-come MSI touchscreen netbook. The new Atom chipset is being planned to be officially launched at CES, according to MSI.
Intel, however, said that they are still looking at shipping the chipset to consumers before the end of 2009. MSI is said to be hoping to be the first one to have their hands on this Pine Trail Atom, as well as its 10-inch convertible U150 with Windows 7. Pine Trail is said to have a better performance, with 20-percent increase in power consumption.
The MSI Wind U150 Netbook will have a touchscreen display, which will hopefully perform better than Asus’ Eee PC T91. It won’t, however, have a capacitive screen and multitouch support.
