Microsoft Releases Price And Availability For Zune HD
On Thursday, Microsoft came up and finally releases the price, availability and specifications of the Zune HD.
Its black 16GB version will retail for $219.99 while the platinum 32GB version will cost you $289.99. The pricing for the Zune HD leaked in Best Buy and Amazon before being picked up by various blog sites. Microsoft has also announced before that the Zune HD will be available nationwide come September 15.
We have already published a post about this so no need to rehash the details of this music player again. Although I must say that this one rivals all the other MP3 players out there. It’s nowhere near the iPod but if you’re looking for an alternative for the popular Apple gadget, the Zune HD is the one that can beat it. In a nutshell, the Zune HD has an OLED display, multi-touch web browser and the ability to send video in 720p to an HDTV via a dock that will be sold separately.
The device can now be pre-ordered and starting September 15, it will be available from Zuneoriginals.net site. It is available in an array of five colors. You also have the option to add one of the 10 engravings at the back of the device. The engravings are composed by various guest artists.
