iTunes 9 Might Feature Blu-ray Support, and A Way To Arrange iPhone Apps
There is a long way to go before Apple releases iTunes 9. Or so we thought. According to a mole, the new version of iTunes should become available when the new iPod gets released, a fact which will probably become a reality this fall. BGR reports that iTunes 9 will come packed with exciting new features, one of them being very surprising while the rest will be more than welcomed. According to “the” inside source which is pretty reliable, iTunes 9 will feature Blu-ray support, the ability to organize iPhone apps, and Twitter, FaceBook, Last.fm integration.
You probably guessed that the surprising feature is Blu-ray support as Apple doesn’t need that for its products. The Cupertino-based company makes money from digital media and a physical format is worthless. We’re not saying this ain’t real, but we’re just wondering why would Apple invest a lot of time and money to bring Blu-ray support when they’re doing fine as it is and risk not making any money at all? This is beyond us…
Now about the organize feature: well, this is probably the most useful thing at the moment. We cannot understand why Apple didn’t develop a way to arrange iPhone / iPod applications so far as it has been bothering millions of iTunes users since the App Store went live.
We’re not sure what to say about the Twitter-FaceBook-Last.fm integration, but I guess some would welcome this feature. That being said, we’re just waiting for Apple to make an official statement and to release iTunes 9 as soon as possible.
