The Bikini Sofa, designed by Enzo Berti for manufacturer Ferlea, is an avant-garde piece of furniture. Ferlea has a prominent market presence in the Italian furniture arena and have always emphasized on design, quality and meticulous choice of material and this sofa is no exception. Its bold and sharp stripes make it look simply attractive. The whole arrangement is made of wood, padded with stress-resistant polyurethane and polyester fiber. The squarely designed pouf partly transforms itself into backrest. A fabric of black plastic covers the lower part of the backrest. At the end of it all, I am a bit confused about the illusive title; do you have any idea why it’s called a bikini sofa?
