HTC Hero’s Sense UI Going To Magic, But Not To T-Mobile myTouch 3G
The HTC Hero is probably the best Android smartphones available on the market, and it will probably remain in this position for another half-a-year or so. It comes with lots of features including anti-fingerprint coating, Teflon coating, and the unbelievable HTC Sense UI which is not available on the T-Mobile G1, HTC Madig, or the T-Mobile myTouch 3G. However, according to a report in Taiwan, the HTC Magic will be updated with the Sense UI and other stuff.
When the HTC Hero and the Sense UI were unveiled, HTC officials said that it will be hard to implement the UI to smartphones who carry the Google branding, and this was aimed to the T-Mobile myTouch 3G. The thing is that the HTC Magic and the T-Mobile myTouch 3G are the same phone, but with different names. HTC said that the myTouch 3G is not getting the Sense UI due to licensing reasons.
So the HTC Magic is getting the HTC Sense UI, while the T-Mobile myTouch 3G is not. Are you going to stop complaining now? I’m sure that a bunch of Android-powered smartphones with the Sense UI will be released soon. Please consider the fact that the myTouch 3G has less ran than other HTC smartphones, and the fact that the Hero doesn’t feature too much ROM to run the UI very fast.
