After we heard all kind of rumors about the Canon EOS 7D, now Canon released the official press release of their new product.
The Canon EOS 7D will be a direct competitor with Nikon’s D300s. The EOS 7D sports a 3-inch LCD, a 18-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, 19-point AF system, 1,920 x 1,080 pixels at 30fps HD video recording. The Canon 7D will be abel to shoot continuously at 8fps.
The Canon EOS 7D will have Dual “Digic 4″ processors which will increase the ISO range, wich is 100-6,400 and expandable to 12,800. The “Digic 4″ processors will also increase the image quality.
Canon set the price for the 7D at $1,699 for the body and an additional $200 for an EF 25-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens. The Canon EOS 7D will hit the marcket at the end of september.
