Canon EOS 7D officially announced with specs and pricing
The Canon EOS 7D has been long expected and a long of rumors and leaks reached the internet lately about it. Fortunately, now Canon has released an official press release so we can be sure when it will hit the markets, what’s its price tag and what will it features.
It will feature a 18 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and will be able to shoot 8 frames / second continuously. The Canon 7D will also have a 3-inch LCD, 19-point AF system, 1080p ( 1,920×1,080 pixels ) 24 / 25 / 30fps HD video recording with full manual controls and an wireless flash control.
The camera comes with a 19-point autofocus system, the new Canon iFCL Metering system with Intelligent Focus, Luminance and Color and a new Intelligent Viewfinder. Also it will be powered by dual DIGIC 4 image processors.
The Canon EOS 7D will be priced at $1,699 for the body and $1,899 with an EF 25-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens and it will hit the shelves at the end of this month.
