Battlefield 2 is an old game. Not too old, but we can consider it a classic. It was one of the best games I have ever played, and from time to time I like playing oldies, but goldies games. Today I’m coming with great news: Battlefield 2 1.5 Patch will become available in the following hours. BF2 1.5 patch should be great, and you should re-install Battlefield 2 in order to be ready for the update.
BF2 Patch 1.5 features Windows Vista support, Highway Tampa as a required map, new map Operation Blue Pearl, Widescreen support, Novint Falcon controller support, while Euro Force and Armored Fury will be released to play for free for everybody so why wouldn’t you download it if it comes with a bonus?
The BF2 1.5 Patch also comes packed with lots of gameplay tweaks including the hit detection system (more accurate hits), fixed occasional connection drops, fixed mouse wheel which boosted speed to vehicles, fixed runway grieving, and players can now pass a claymore by going prone. Among the Battlefield 2 1.5 Patch bug fixes users will find that picking up a players kit will not cause CTD anymore, fixed MEC artillery piece on the Operation Clean Sweep that swapped to USMC control when Airfield flag captured, and many others.
The BF2 Patch 1.5 will be released by DICE and EA today at 5PM London time. Remember: Tuesday, September 1, at 5PM (UK time).
