One thing I hate most about my old laptop is the fact that its bright display screen reflects too much of the sun’s glare. In fact, this is mostly a boon for me during the days I was using that ratty, old laptop since I work at the field most of the time. Some people though likes using the bright LED displays for their laptops because it gives a better resolution during movie viewing.
Anyway, Apple has just allowed buyers to customize their 15-inch Macbook Pro by providing two options for its display screen: one is the shiny, glossy screen; and the other is a matte-finish display. This brings the 15-inch Pro in line with its 17-inch brother. Unfortunately for those who own the 13-inch Macbook, you still don’t have this wonderful option of choosing your display screens. But who knows one day if Apple will decide to offer these customization to all their clients right?
The matte-finish option will cost you an extra $50.
