Apple to host WWDC in early June
Apple have announced the date of their annual World Wide Developers Conference, which will be held in San Francisco in June. The event will be attended by 5,000 engineers from June 8 to June 12. Fans have start planning there trips already for this year’s event.
Apple have yet to announce its major focus on WWDC, but it is expected that they will be focusing iPhone 3G and Mac OSX Snow Leopard this year. Since Steve Jobs is on a medical leave, visitors are not expecting him to be the part of the show. Steve Jobs was likely to join company by June so I am expecting a surprise from him on WWDC. Jobs’ return will lift up the spirit of the developers, and we could finally get a keynote from him in 2009. Anyhow, this year we have high expectations from the conference as the future of Mac OSX, Snow Leopard will be released.
The tag line for this year’s event is ‘Make your mark here’ which seems to be aimed directly at developers.
