The Ashes
9 / 11 Remembrance Quotes Because We Can Never Forget 911
Today is a sad day for all the people in the world, not only for Americans. I don’t want to jump into debates and say that the 9/11 events were something planned by the Government. All we know is that the World Trade Center towers were “destroyed” by two planes who were hijacked by unknown people on September 11, 2001. It is believed that the airplanes were hijacked by members of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization.
Here are some quotes of famous people after the 9 11 attacks:
“Freedom itself was attacked this morning by a faceless coward. Freedom will be defended!” by President George W. Bush, September 11, 2001.
“No just cause can be advanced by terrorism.” by Koffi Anan.
“If the culprits are Muslim, they have twisted the teachings of Islam. Whoever performed, or is behind, the terrorist attacks in the United States of America does not represent Islam. God is not behind assassins.” by Muhammad Ali.
“The best defense against terrorism is a strong offensive against terrorists. That work continues.” by President George W. Bush.
“These acts shattered steel, but they cannot dent the steel of America’s resolve.” by President George W. Bush.
“At this critical moment, the United States can rely on its Allies in North America and Europe for assistance and support. NATO solidarity remains the essence of our Alliance. Our message to the people of the United States is that we are with you. Our message to those who perpetrated these unspeakable crimes is equally clear: you will not get away with it.” by NATO North Atlantic Council, 11 Sep 2001.
“Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children. ” by President George W. Bush.
911 was one of the saddest days in American History. On 9/11 moment of silence is a must because we have to remember all of those who died, pay a tribute to them, and to thanks all of those who did everything possible to save as many people as possible. One man can never forget September 11 2001 because the world has changed then. Everything has changed since 9/11/01.
